How to Cook Shrimp

Shrimp is one of the tastiest seafood treats that many people always crave for especially when they are searching for a truly satisfying gastronomic experience. It is widely used all over the world, particularly in European countries like Portugal, Italy and Spain. Shrimp Salad

Perfect for individuals who are searching for tasty yet healthy food, this recipe contains simple and easy-to-find ingredients like one whole minced clove garlic, ¼-cup extra virgin olive oil and 1½-pounds of deveined and cooked shrimp. Other important ingredients for this delicious seafood treat include a tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley, the juice of one whole lemon as well as a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.

After cooking the shrimps, slowly remove the shell and devein them. For the dressing, simply combine the clove garlic, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil in a small bowl. After that, season it with pepper and salt. Place the shrimps in a clean salad bowl. Pour over the dressing and then mix all the ingredients until the flavors are scattered all throughout the dish. Get a nice clean small bowl. Pour in the lemon juice, chicken broth and cornstarch. Mix and stir thoroughly until it acquires a smooth texture. Lay the mixture aside and then work on the shrimps. Set the stove to medium-high heat. Pour oil inside a 10-inch skillet. Wait until the oil heats up before adding the red pepper, garlic and shrimp. Remember not to overcook the shrimps as it may affect their flavor and texture. After cooking the shrimps, set them aside first. Using the same skillet, pour in the cornstarch mixture. Stir constantly until it boils and thickens. Add the shrimps as well as the cooked spaghetti. Finally, add the red pepper and parsley to the mix. Serve and enjoy.
