How to Cook Swiss Steak

Use a sharp knife to cut the meat into several pieces. Drizzle the meat with pepper and salt. Coat the meat with flour. Use a mallet to tenderize the steak.

Heat pan over medium fire. Pour a tablespoon of olive oil into the pan. Put the steak and wait until the color of the meat turns brown. Drain the oil and pour the beer into the pan. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Add the soup and cover the pan. Simmer for 40 minutes. Serve with a cup of rice.

Swiss Steak Italian

The ingredients for this main entrée are two pounds beef round steak, three tablespoons all-purpose flour, ¼ cup butter, a can of tomatoes, 1 ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon basil leaves, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, ½ cup chopped onions, ½ cup chopped green pepper and 1 ½ cup Mozzarella cheese.

Slice the meat into several pieces. Coat the steak with flour. Melt butter in a skillet placed over medium fire.

Brown the steak and add the salt, pepper, basil, and tomatoes. Cover the pan. Change the heat setting to low fire. Cook the dish for an hour. Add the green pepper and onion.

Cook for another 30 minutes. Add the cheese and cover for a minute. Remove the dish from the pan and serve immediately.

Swiss Steak with Tomato Sauce

The dish contains six Swiss steaks, a small can of mushrooms, a small can of tomato sauce, an onion, and a green pepper.

Arrange the meats in a casserole. Combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the meats.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the dish inside the oven and cook for an hour. Serves up to six individuals.
