How to Cook Fish

Many people love to eat fish because it is highly nutritious. It is a very good source of vital nutrients like protein and omega-3 fatty acids. More importantly, it has numerous health benefits. Portuguese-Style Fish Stew

Start this simple dish by gathering all the right ingredients. These include 4-pieces of minced garlic cloves, 4-pieces of thinly sliced onions and 3-tablespoons olive oil. Likewise, be sure to prepare 3-pieces of cubed large-size potatoes, 3-pieces of chopped tomatoes and ¼-cup of dry sherry. In addition, bring in about 8-cups of water, ¼-teaspoon of pepper and ½-teaspoon of fresh marjoram. To complete the list, prepare ½-teaspoon of tarragon, a tablespoon of minced fresh parsley, 2-pieces of bay leaves and 2-pieces of whole cloves.

Aside from these ingredients, a second set of ingredients is also needed to complete this special dish. These include a tablespoon of fresh parsley, ½-cup of parmesan cheese and 12 slices of Italian bread. In addition to these, bring in a piece of minced garlic clove, ¼-cup butter as well as a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of pepper for seasoning. More importantly, get a pound of bluefish fillets and another pound of Pollock fillets.

In a medium-heat stove, place a saucepan on top of it. Add olive oil and then sauté the garlic and onion. After that, add all the rest of the ingredients. Put on the cover and then wait for at least an hour. After this, cut the fish into chunks and then add the pieces to the mix. Wait for at least 10 minutes to cook entirely. Add the pepper and salt.

Get a skillet and then place in on top of a medium-heat stove. Put some butter and then sauté the garlic. Add the slices of bread and wait for each side to acquire brownish color. Serve in separate bowls and then add the parsley.

Tuna Fish Casserole

For this recipe, the ingredients needed are a can of cream of mushroom, a bag of egg noodles and two cans of tuna fish. Additionally, buy at least two cans of milk. Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Get a deep pan and then set it on top of a high heat stove. Place the noodles inside the pan.

Meanwhile, open the cans of tuna fish and then drain. Place the contents in a nice clean bowl and then pour in the cream of mushroom soup. Next, add the two cans of milk. Mix thoroughly to distribute the ingredients evenly. When the noodles are almost finish, place them inside a baking pan. Pour in the milk, cream of mushroom and the tuna fish mixture. Place inside the oven and then bake for about 25 to 35 minutes. Allow to cool down a bit and then serve.
