A customary meal in Poland, cooking fresh Polish sausage has turned into a favorite in many other countries. For beginners, these recipes should be quite easy to prepare.
Polish Sausage Soup
Ingredients
- Fresh Polish sausage
- Bacon fat (2 tsp)
- Beef broth (six cups)
- Beer (12 ounces)
- Onions (1 cup, chopped)

- Brown sugar (2 tbsp)
- Red pepper (1 tsp)
- Potatoes (2 cups)
Instructions

Let it cook for 60 minutes and add the sausages. Put in the potatoes as well.

Casserole

Ingredients
- Polish sausages (6 pieces)
- Sauerkraut (1 can)
- Potatoes (sliced, 2 cups)
- Butter (2 tbsp)
- Water (half a cup)
- Salt (1/4 tbsp)
- Pepper (1/4 tbsp)
- Paprika (1/2 tsp)
- Cayenne pepper (1/2 tsp)
Instructions
Pour the water into a pan and set it over medium-high.
Add the sausages to the skillet. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Take away the remaining water.
Continue cooking fresh Polish sausage by slicing them into several pieces.
When it’s cooked, move them to a baking dish. Add all the other ingredients there except the butter.
Apply the butter evenly on the sausages. Add the potatoes.
Now take the dish and put it in the preheated oven at 375 F. Leave it there for an hour.
Grilling
Ingredients
- Fresh Polish sausages
- Seasonings (bell pepper, onions, Worcestershire sauce; 2 tsp each)
- Butter (2 tbsp)
- Water (1/2 cup)
- Barbecue sauce (1 cup)
Instructions
Put the sausages on the grill. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes. Cook each side for 5 minutes. Pour all the other ingredients in a bowl and mix. Heat it for 15 minutes.
Continue cooking fresh Polish sausage by adding the sauce in the pan. Include the sausages. Cook on the grill for 15 minutes. This can be served with some vegetables or hamburgers.
Pork Sausages
Ingredients
Pork seasonings (some of the popular choices are onions, garlic, jalapeno, cheese, chili pepper, etc)
Instructions
Slice the pork into edible chunks (an inch will be fine). Gather all the seasonings and combine them in a bowl. Mix well.
Add the meats. Pour them into the sausage casings. Immerse in lukewarm water. Put the casing on the stuffing horn. Place the sausages in the fridge.
Put them in the freezer if you won’t be eating it for a while. Use airtight bags. When they’re about to be eaten, remove them from the fridge.
Allow the meats to thaw first. Remember, store the meats in the freezer if you won’t be eating them for several days or weeks.
